"received
the cables today. i am completely blown away by your product.
granted i have never listened to silver interconnects before.
no matter - i switched from kimber pbj, which i had thought
was a good, neutral-sounding wire. had never heard the vertical
element of space in my system before - not really. beautiful
transparency, relaxing, solved a lot of bass problems - much
tighter, cleaner. laid back, just beautiful sound. like my
stereo took mushrooms. i'll definitely tell my friends. very
impressive."

"You have a winner! Just got my 2 pair
of .5M Silver. "UNBROKEN-IN" they sound better than
my Kimber KCAG and my NORDOST. I'll tell all my friends. Thanks.
Do you want to sell many more.....RAISE the price to at least
$150.00 per 1/2 M pair. The psychological effect will boost
sales and your wallet( you're product sounds too good to be
true now ....and IT SURELY IS! ). "
This IS the BEST interconnect on the market...BAR
NONE. I'm comparing them to Kimber KCAG and Kimber Select(Silver)
and Nordost's finest."
- B. Bean, M.D., Paducah, KY
"I just wanted to let you know that I am
most pleased with your Super Silver interconnects. They sound
as good as, and perhaps even slightly better than my Cardas
Quadlink 5C (which are twice the price). I have started recommending
your interconnects on the Audio Asylum wepage (www.audioasylum.com/cables),
and hope that your business continues to grow. I also appreciated
you letting me listen to your system for a bit. It was quite
nice, to say the least. I certainly think those were about
the best monitor speakers I've ever heard."

[message 1] "... I'm excited to get my
project wired with silver. If it makes even close to the difference
I found when switching from my JPS Superconductor to your
interconnect, the results will be excellent."
[message 2] "I received the silver wire
yesterday and wired up my project this evening. This wire
is so easy to work with! I wouldn't hesitate buying some in
bulk and braiding up some speaker cables with silver spades...
Your company is a refreshing and welcome change in a market
that has become consumed by manufactures who have forgotten
what (and who) they are building their products for."
- J. Harden, Mattoon, IL
"The amp/preamp interconnects you made
for me in January sound great! Nice imaging, sound stage and
transparency. Time to now repalce the rest of the interconnects.
Thanks."
- G. Smith, Traverse City, MI
"Dear Kevin, I got the interconnect kit
you sent last week and got the cables in the system. WOW!
What an incredible transformation! I had borrowed some $500
MIT cables from the store the week before, and I have to say
that yours were significantly better in my system (a conrad
johnson PV10 preamp and some Quicksilver monoblocks). I just
bought the amp and preamp and was actually just beginning
to think that I had made a mistake with this combination,
but your wires brought them to life, and then some. The sound
is smooth, clear, and full of life. The highs are suddenly
sparkling, the bass is taut and musical, and the soundstage
is positively cinematic. More importantly, the cables bring
out all the magic that is in music. But don't take my word
for it, just ask my wife. She is a talented musician with
a very sharp ear, but she thinks all this hi-fi stuff is a
profound waste of the family's money. Last night I was playing
a solo pocket-trumpet piece by Don Cherry with the music-room
door closed. She and the kids came bursting through the door,
to find out where I had gotten a trumpet. Her comment: "I
thought it was real music; it didn't sound recorded at all."
And this through a closed door! "Now," she said,"I
see why you do this." By the way, your kit instructions
were a model of simplicity and explicitness; building the
interconnects couldn't have been easier (and I didn't even
burn myself!). And the components are all first-rate. My wife
says it looks like jewelry (I think you've made a convert
out of her, which is pretty close to walking on water). All
things considered, I have to say that I have never seen a
higher price-performance ratio in any piece of hi-fi gear.
Thanks very much for making such a great product and for bringing
quality and sanity to a hobby that has lately veered off into
economic lalaland. I'll be buying more of your stuff. Any
plans to make a speaker cable? Good luck with the business.
I hope it takes off like a rocket. It deserves to. All the
best,"

"Just a short message to say that I received
my kit on Monday. Thanks for the quick delivery. The cables
were easy to assemble and sound great. Thanks again!"
- B. Novak, Saskatchewan, Canada
"Hi, I love my new interconnect cables!
The kit was easy to assemble too! ... Thank You!"
- M. Costello, Bradenton, FL
"Hi Kevin, I wanted to wait and break the
cables in before I wrote anything in regards to a review of
sorts. I’m not going to get into descriptive Audiophile
lingo here. I like a very neutral, natural presentation that
these do not mess with. Let me start out by saying the kits
are VERY cost effective and really easy to assemble according
to the very good instructions. They make a very professional
“classy” looking silver cable. The supplied Gold
RCA‘s are nice, and again easy to work with. All well
made stuff according to the parameters of a competing design
goal. How do they sound? Although this may not be absolute
conclusive because they do not connect my whole system, they
compare just as good as the Kimber PBJ, and Silver Streak.
Price wise, kit or assembled they are a bargain compared to
the Kimbers. I have used Kimber for the last 12 years. As
I said the quality is there. Hey, this stuff is 5/9’s
Silver and Teflon. Silver Streak only has one leg of their
interconnect being silver. I had purchased a 1/2 meter Silver
Solution Kit and a 1 1/2 meter of Super Silver Kit. I think
the cables sound really nice. I have a very detailed SET tube
system and anything being detrimental to the sound would show
up immediately. The 1 1/2 meter Super Silver is in between
the SET Mono Blocks and the Suwoofer Amp Crossover. Everything
sounds really dynamic and detailed through my Coincident Triumph
Signatures. I have not tried the cables between my CD Trans.
and MSB DAC. I hate to mess with anything when it sounds so
good. The bottom line is they are a very good purchase decision.
The quality and cost is all there. If you like the Kimbers
substitute these at a huge savings without substituting any
quality."

"Are you going to come out with speaker
wire? I bought your pure silver interconnects and love them.
I would like to match the system with speaker wire of the
same caliber."
- M. Anders, Littleton, CO
"I purchased your silver interconnect last
December and promised to post my review of your cable... I
have done so and here is the address of that site at http://soback.kornet.net/~audiopia/.
[Review is in Korean - if someone can read this I'd love to
hear about it -Kevin] ... I highly recommend your silver interconnector
cable and hopefully some of our audiophile readers would be
interested in your products. I still enjoy your cable and
I will keep recommending your products. I want to do business
with you again."
- J. Choi, Seoul, Korea
"cables arrived the other day..nice packaging,
nice design. i installed two of the four so far...from cd
to preamp then to the amp. so far very nice sound. probably
some more break in will fine tune them even more. very nice
work."
- R. Eichler, Spokane, WA
"I got your cables today. I'm amazed at
the great quality. The sound is suberb. I'm using Audio Electronics
SE-811 mono blocks, an Audio Electronics AE-3, a pair of Celestion
A2 and a Pioneer Elite PD-65. Your cables have improved the
sound tremendously. ...I did not know that cables could make
this much of a difference."
- E. Guillergan, Forest Hills, NY
"Hi! Ordered from you previously. Enjoying
your cables!! Expected to be bright before burn in, surprised
how sweet they sounded!!"
- C. Phoa, Sunnyvale, CA
"best wishes and happy new year from Andy
Thomas your cables arrived this week...and it has taken unitl
tonight (due to flue bug) for me to try one of the sets....first
impression...wow! i have started by trying one set between
my new krell 250cd player and preamp ...replacing an expensive
mit 330 interconnect...which cost over 350 dollars new.....your
silver cable is even out of the box outdoing it with better
highs...more liquid ...better cymbal....waiting on bass to
totally take shape as i start to wear your cable in...im impressed.
...i will keep you updated on my findings...but first listen
for your price ....incredible....smooth...not harsh...detailed...liquid..
important question...can we order cable like this that is
ballanced with xlrs?....and have you tried to make this into
speaker cable? I am anxious to know more about your company...you
remind me of myself ...starting a unique product...homegrown.
Here is to us self starters. looking forward to hear what
happens as it breaks in....more to come and thanks for letting
me audition these... best wishes...andy"

"Just thought I would let you know that
I have received the Interconnects on the 31st and have been
enjoying them ever since. I'm really impressed with the build
quality and especially impressed with the sonic differences
between them and the old interconnects (Kimber). Thanks again
... and PLEASE let me know when you start making speaker cables.
Happy New Years and all the best to your company."
- E. Aube, Quebec, Canada
'I received the super kit today assembled it
and the interconnects sound awesome. They compare quite favorably
with my Purists which set me back about $250. The supers actually
sound better in some respects. I'll have to do some more comparing
after the supers break in a bit as suggested, it looks like
the Purists may get the boot. I have to say that I'm quite
surprised. At any rate I'll be recommending these to friends.
At this price you can't go wrong."
- T. McDowell, Albuquerque, NM
"I finally received some kits and put together
a pair, and I do say I am quite impressed. They easily toast
a pair of comparably-priced Monsters and are a great inexpensive,
aggressive, accurate set of wires."
- C. Own, Evanston, IL
From Greece, with love. This year, my vote for Best Sound at Show goes to the Audio Analysis Loudspeaker room for a system based around the Omega full-range planar ribbon loudspeaker ($14,990/pair). These superb speakers bear a strong visual resemblance to the Apogee planars, but as the US distributor Michael Kalellis (MK Audio) explains it, form follows function in this case. The sound here was exemplary - fast, detailed and cohesive in a manner that captured the essence of live music - and illustrates what can be achieved even under show conditions if sufficient time is spent on system building. The emphasis today, driven by various magazine recommended component lists, is on components, which inevitably leads audiophiles down a path to "audio hell" - disappointment and constant tweaking of mismatched systems. Let me therefore spell out each link in this showcase system since it is all about synergy. Matching amplifiers were the Antique Sound Labs AQ 1009 845 DT monoblocks ($5,600/pair). Home Grown Audio (HGA, Inc.) provided speaker cables (X32 and X16 Bi-wire) and interconnects (model DNA $389.95 per 1-meter pair). Power cords were the Bybee Power Golden Goddess ($1,250). The front end consisted of the VPI Industries Super Scoutmaster Signature turntable feeding the Ray Samuels Audio Emmeline XR-10B phono stage ($4,500) and Stealth tube preamplifier ($2,495). CD playback was via the Audio Research Reference CD7. Finally, equipment racks were courtesy of MK Audio.
